Did you know that 1.2 million employees in New Jersey do not have access to paid sick days?

They risk losing their wages, or even their job, if they get sick or need to care for a child or family member.

That means people who should be staying home with the flu are forced to work, putting us all at risk by showing up at the office or serving food.

The good news is that strong legislation has been passed to fix this problem. Now we need Governor Murphy to make it law.

Ensuring that New Jersey workers are able to earn Paid Sick Days is critical to the state’s economy and productivity. Fortunately, the legislature has passed strong legislation to fix this problem. The last step is for Governor Murphy to sign this bill and make it law.
